In 2020, I was delighted to take part in a Zoom session for the launch of Albany: An antipodean Arcadia in which my commissioned article 'Sickness and Health in Albany 1826-1831'  for the journal Studies in Western Australian History appears and which was published in June 2020 - please see under Articles for details. The event was recorded and formed part of a second launch at the Museum of the Great Southern. The publication, in hardback and softback, has already gone to a 2nd edition and is a splendid volume.

A short article about the botanist Allan Cunningham was also published recently in a Royal Western Australian Historical Society newsletter. Earlier this month, September, I presented a short paper to our local Probus Society, based on my grandfather's 1940 diary of the Blitz.

Talks by the Till Valley Archaeology Society continue with the James IV Lecture taking place early in October and Borders Archgaeological Talks continuing every month.
